Dartmoor based storytellers Sara Hurley and Lisa Schneidau will be in Tavistock library telling traditional Dartmoor tales to bring the magic of the moor to life, including naughty pixies, shapeshifting creatures and the people who came before. Become a Marvelous maker with craft activities! Sara and Lisa will be joined by Dartmoor’s Skylark Radio and invite you to share stories big and small of living, working and playing on the moor.

Don't forget you can sign up for the summer reading challenge and collect a Marvelous Makers Challenge Pack at your local library!

This event is part of a wider project called Chasing Crockern- Reimagining Dartmoor’s stories for the 21st century Generously supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund and Arts Council England using money raised by National Lottery players, the project will bring a myriad of events, story walks, live performances, talks, and exhibitions to Dartmoor over the next 18 months.
