Nature Doodles Workshop with Megan Dowsett

How do you Doodle? Use an extensive array of seed pods, sticks, leaves and cones to create temporary artworks, known as Nature Doodles. Without lifting a pencil, or pen, we doodle individually, before creating a bigger, collaborative piece, seeing the magic that can happen when we all work together.

  • Session 1 - 11:00 -12.30
  • Session 2 - 13.30 - 15.00

Nature Doodles are an invitation to play - experience the sensory delights of nature in a non-committal way. Children find this approach intuitive; adults often find it meditative, re-discovering their own ability to play.

This workshop is led by Megan Dowsett, an Exeter-based artist exploring connection with people, place and nature. Nature Doodles has formed an important part of her practice for over two years.
