Author Carla Jenkins, whose debut novel Fifty Minutes was published on 16th May, will share with you how she got a two-book publishing deal with Hachette, and her top10 tips that could help you to get published. She'll be covering the psychology of writing, imposter syndrome, work ethic, resilience and the craft of writing itself in this informative and fascinating talk that's suitable for anyone who writes.

Carla Jenkins runs Creative Writing courses through her business, Raw Writing, where people can experiment with fiction and non-fiction. She has a Masters in Creative Writing and nearly twenty years of teaching experience. Carla’s second novel will be coming out next year. She believes that we should all honour the urge to write.

This event will take place in the Rougemont Room on the 2nd floor. There won't be any refreshments, but you're very welcome to bring your own.
