Billing: Come along and experience the rich history of Caribbean at Paignton Library
In June 1948, hundreds of Caribbean men, women, and children arrived in London on a ship called the Empire Windrush. This event shares some of their stories a fun and interactive workshop featuring craft activities, music, games, dominoes, storytelling and poetry. There’s also a Caribbean spice trail and quiz, and excerpts from a new play called Farewell Jamaica.
