November Heralds A New Season of Films At The Library!

Libraries across Devon are hosting another must-see programme of films this autumn.

‘Films at the Library’ will take place throughout the month of November in 6 different libraries - Barnstaple, Crediton, Cullompton, Newton Abbot, Seaton, and St Thomas. See our Events page for full details.

Carefully chosen by a team of dedicated librarians, the line up of films includes award-winning films and starring actors such as Kate Winslet, Peter Dinklage, Kenneth Branagh and Colin Firth among others. From well-known classics to recent releases and anime, there’s something for audiences of all ages.

Building on the success of the first Libraries Unlimited film festival, which took place in March, we hope that film screenings will become a regular feature in our libraries. Already another season of films is scheduled for February 2023.

The film festival is organised by Evolve through Libraries Unlimited, with support from the BFI Film Audience Network with funds from the National Lottery. Evolve is funded by Arts Council England and Exeter City Council.

Tickets cost £3 and are on sale online through the Libraries Unlimited Eventbrite, or in person at each library.
