Isobel Hunter, CEO of Libraries Connected, talks to Eric Klinenberg.
Eric is a world-renowned American sociologist, scholar and author.
He is Helen Gould Shepard Professor of Social Science and Director of the Institute for Public Knowledge at New York University and is the author of, among other publications, Palaces for the People: How Social Infrastructure Can Help Fight Inequality, Polarization, and the Decline of Civic Life and co-author, with Aziz Ansari, of the New York Times #1 bestseller Modern Romance.
His talk with Isobel explores libraries as essential democratic spaces and their role in light of the Covid-19 pandemic and beyond.
