The Reading Tree at Barnstaple Library needs your help. Join cardboard sculptor James Lake & make some decorations.

Exeter-based sculptor James Lake uses cardboard as a sculptural material due to its immediacy, ease of availability, reasonable cost and low environmental impact.

He was commissioned by Libraries Unlimited to create a site-specific sculpture for Barnstaple Library & the result is the remarkable Reading Tree.
Designed to be placed at the heart of the library, the Reading Tree creates an inclusive space under which to gather and spend time.
