What if YOU spoke? Terms and Conditions for Competitions

The deadline for competition entries is Monday 31st January at midnight. The winners of the competition will be announced on the Evolve website, and winners will be contacted by Monday 28th February 2022 using the contact details provided on the entry. The winners will be chosen at judges' discretion and their decision is final. If the prize is NOT claimed within one month of the notification, the competition entry will be void and the prize will be forfeited. Entries can be submitted to the multiple categories available, but only one prize per person will be awarded. Once the prizes have been awarded, maintenance and insurances will be the responsibility of the owner. The iPad will include the standard Apple warranty.
To be eligible to enter What if YOU spoke? competitions, entrants must live in Devon and be aged 15-25 years at the time of submitting their entry.
All competition entries should be submitted using the What if YOU spoke? online submission forms, or emailed to entries@librariesunlimited.org.uk
The prizes are non-transferable; employees of Libraries Unlimited are not eligible for entry; the prize is only open to those who submit writing on the above terms of publication.
The winners will also receive one hour tuition on a digital platform with the writer or artist who led the online masterclass that they won the competition for, to be arranged at a time suitable for both parties.
What if YOU spoke? Terms and Conditions for Publication or Broadcast.

By submitting content the writer/contributor agrees, should said content be accepted for publication, to allow Libraries Unlimited (LU) and London Borough of Barking and Dagenham (LBBD) Pen to Print a non-exclusive licence to publish or broadcast said content digitally online, which will be freely accessible worldwide, for a minimum of twelve (12) months, until such a time after that the writer/contributor requests the withdrawal of publication or broadcast or the legal term of copyright expires within the United Kingdom.
All competition entries should be submitted using the What if YOU spoke? online submission forms, or emailed to entries@librariesunlimited.org.uk
By submitting content and specifying consent to print/broadcast rights the writer/contributor agrees, should said content be accepted for potential print publication or broadcast, to allow LU & LBBD Pen to Print a non-exclusive licence to publish or broadcast said content in print/video/audio in the United Kingdom for the legal term of copyright.
Publication by LU & LBBD Pen to Print does not affect the right of the writer to publish or broadcast said content elsewhere, either digitally or in print.
By submitting content the writer declares there is no agreement, embargo, or other such limitations currently imposed upon said content from a current or previous publisher, or any other company or organisation. If it is found by LU & LBBD Pen to Print that content has been published in breach of an existing agreement, responsibility for the reproduction of said content will be entirely with the writer/ contributor, with LU & LBBD Pen to Print not being held liable.
By submitting content the writer/contributor declares that said content is entirely his/her/their own work and is not plagiarised or copied from another writer’s/artists content. If it is found by LU & LBBD Pen to Print that content has been plagiarised or copied, responsibility for the reproduction of said content will be entirely with the writer/contributor, with LU & LBBD Pen to Print not being held liable.
By submitting content the writer/contributor agrees to LU & LBBD Pen to Print holding their name, pseudonym (if applicable), email address, biography, website and any social media links, for the duration of the submission process and, if said content is accepted, for the duration of publication or broadcast of said content, and consent to receiving updates regarding their submission status including confirmation of receipt, acceptance or non-acceptance of online publication, acceptance of print publication (if applicable), updates and notifications regarding print publication or broadcast (if applicable), editorial adjustments or discussion, updates to writer/ contributor profiles, changes to these terms, and any other contact deemed reasonably necessary in relation to the publication or broadcast of said content. These details will not be shared with third parties other than those organisations or individuals working on behalf of Pen to Print, contact will only be regarding submitted content or the public profile held by LU & LBBD Pen to Print.

- The giveaway is open to UK residents aged 18+ only.
- Libraries Unlimited staff are not eligible.
- The giveaway is in no way endorsed or sponsored by Instagram.
- The deadline for entry will be midday on Friday 7th January 2022.
- The winner will be selected using a random Instagram comment selector.
- The winner will be notified within 5 days of the draw via the Instagram account they used to comment on the giveaway post.
- Prize to be claimed within one month of the notification, otherwise they will be re-drawn; the prize is non-transferable.

Cranbrook Design Competition - Terms and Conditions for Entries

The winner will be announced on Belonging to Cranbrook Facebook Page and contacted by Monday 6th Dec using the details provided on the entry. The winner will be chosen at Judges discretion and their decision is final. If the prize is NOT claimed within one month of the notification, entry will be void and we will announce a new winner. Prizes are valid 12 months from issue.
The prizes are non-transferable; employees of Libraries Unlimited are not eligible for entry; the prize is only open to those who complete the challenge and are residents of Cranbrook, proof of address may be required.
This competition is for fun and in no way represents any future developments for the Welfare Sanctuary project
