Runner-up of Ashish Ghadiali's masterclass 'The Thread', with ‘Commit: The Guilty Party’

“Having graduated from UCL in 2021, I am now beginning my career as a screenwriter. My work is character driven and focuses on world building, but my main interest is structure. Experimenting with the way I tell stories, I aim to write scripts that are as interesting to read as the film is to watch.

I have previously worked in theatre, my plays having been put on in London, at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and selected for the Act II festival; however, I am now transitioning to film as I enjoy the more visual aspect of storytelling in this medium. I am strongly influenced by the work of Payne, Nolan, and Eliot and have always loved the early modern writers.

Having several feature film scripts ready and soon to begin a MA in Screenwriting, I found the competition a great platform to learn more about the craft.”
