Emily works as a Programme Coordinator within the Creative Communities team to support and manage our established Arts Council funded programme across Libraries Unlimited Southwest.
Emily’s background is in visual art and design, in both a personal and professional capacity. Working the past 5 years in the arts and charity sector running socially engaged projects and events with local charities and community groups supporting children and young people, to experience benefits of creative engagement.
Emily is currently working part time on a Graphic Design Degree alongside her role at Libraries Unlimited, and enjoys painting, yoga, walking and photography. Emily enjoys working with communities and with the libraries that serve them, and is passionate about the value of library spaces, and the integral part they have to play in supporting and inspiring the community.
