Drumming workshop - Uffculme

Join James from Drum Devon and experience the Beat of Africa with your family. All ages are welcome as we embark on a rhythmical adventure and experience the enchanting world of African drums and percussion. With no experience necessary, you’ll be playing uplifting, infectious rhythms in no time and learn about cultural context and the impact rhythms have on individuals and communities. Join us for an unforgettable experience, embrace the rhythm and be the drummer!

The aim being to bring together all ages of the community in order to foster intergenerational cohesion through a shared, cooperative music making experience. The act of drumming in a group also has a meditative quality to support personal wellbeing.
