Exploring the Art of Ingrid Pollard

A drop-in family-friendly workshop with Monica-Shanta.
A collage workshop bringing together photographs, botanical illustrations and drawings of plants and flowers with landscapes and habitats. A chance to cut, stick, draw and stamp to create magical collages inspired by the origins, and sometimes problematic histories, of the plants we grow for both their beauty and their taste.
There will also be a lace-making demo by Mary Wardell.
FREE - no booking required.
This workshop is part of a wider project in Devon produced by Ella S. Mills of talking on corners focused on the work of Ingrid Pollard with a varied programme of activity. For full details of the programme, please visit THG website.
In addition to Libraries Unlimited, project partners include Devon and Exeter Institution, The University of Exeter, Natural England, South Devon College and the University of Plymouth.
