Allegra Galvin hosts quilting bees in Torbay libraries

This week Allegra Galvin is hosting a series of public quilting bees in Torbay libraries between 10am and 4pm. Library users, teams and volunteers are invited to pull up a chair around the quilting frame in the main library floor and embellish the quilt with stitch on the following days:

• Monday 24 June - Churston Library
• Tuesday 25 June - Brixham Library
• Wednesday 26 June - Torquay Library
• Saturday 29 June - Paignton Library (till 3.45pm)

Churston, Brixham, Torquay and Paignton have each hosted 'piecing' workshops with Allegra in which participants brought fabric that held personal meaning to them and pieced them together into blocks. Now is the chance to stitch the final quilt. All welcome!
